Profile
From 2003 to 2022 I worked for almost two decades as an enterprise software developer, systems analyst and eventually team lead. I designed, built and rolled out custom ERP and CRM systems on .NET/C# and MS SQL. At AvenDATA I led a development team in Mumbai as product owner, and at Avon a 3–4 member scrum team. With a degree in technical and business informatics, my strength is translating between business processes and technology: I have taken projects from requirements analysis through system design and development to rollout and user training.
Since 2022 I have worked as a personal development counsellor, which has deepened the communication, motivation and conflict management skills a team lead needs. In 2026 I led the development of a system of ten websites with AI agents (Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini), so I know the business value, limits and risks of AI-assisted development first-hand. With this experience I would like to return to leading software development.
Experience
- Directed AI agents in developing ten static websites and their supporting check, backup and dashboard tools.
- Set up a shared rulebook and workflow for several AI tools working in parallel: version control (git), automated checks, backups and a decision log.
- Experience in selecting AI tools, tailoring them to tasks, reviewing their output and managing their risks.
Individual and small-group counselling for adults, alongside training in psychology. Client-centred communication, motivation, conflict management, facilitating group processes.
- Technical and day-to-day lead of a 3–4 member development team working in scrum sprints, as a unit of a larger international development organisation.
- Sprint planning, task breakdown, agreeing priorities and deadlines, code review, mentoring team members.
- TransData 5.0: migration tool between database systems (MS SQL, MySQL, SAP DB2, CSV, XML, JSON); as product owner I led a three-member development team in Mumbai (C#, .NET, Telerik WPF).
- I was also responsible for the technical training of the Budapest developers, and after the project manager left I led them for a period (3–9 people over time).
- HDEx 1.0: a data extraction framework I designed and built, which uses ethical hacking techniques and targeted HTTP requests to explore closed enterprise web applications and archive their business data. It was first used to recover the data of a German energy supplier from its legacy system (C#, .NET).
- ViewBox 2016: web viewer for archived databases of legacy ERP and CRM systems, in a scrum team (ASP.NET MVC, Web API 2, Entity Framework, MySQL, AngularJS).
- Siemens AG (2014–2015): automated integration test tool for a multi-platform industrial automation framework; protocol specification, server and client business logic (C++, Qt, C#, NUnit).
- Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post, 2014): new version of an address labelling and electronic shipping list application with online data exchange; full functional specification and system design (C#, VB.NET, WCF, WPF, Telerik, SQLite, Oracle PL/SQL).
- Lagardère Services (2013–2014): development and rollout of an online shipment logistics system; web service interface, database structure and stored procedures (C#, WinForms, WCF, MS SQL Server).
- Pro Patria Electronics (2010–2013): control software for a radar surveillance system, high-reliability communication protocol, 3D GIS user interface (C, C++, C#, DirectX, OpenGL).
- Custom ERP and CRM systems for Hungarian and international manufacturers and service companies of 50–500 employees: requirements analysis, specification, system design, database design and optimisation, development, rollout, training, support.
- BADAR® sales support and CRM system (2004–2006): designed and built by me, with process and document management, in production since 2006 at Bepatek Kft., a Hungarian–Austrian trading company (C#, VB.NET, MS SQL, SOAP, XML). Related: the Iparihirek.hu industry portal with an automated newsletter service (2009–2011).
- HVG-Orac Publishing (2008): editorial system with daily automated import and processing of the complete Hungarian-language body of EU law, with a web portal and online shop (C#, MS SQL Server, XML).
- Victofon Kft. (2009–2016): ViFi hearing aid fitting application for audiology centres (rolled out in 2010, extended several times afterwards); VMS manufacturing system for programming and measuring hearing aids (C#, VB.NET, SQLite).
- Systems analysis for more than 100 development and rollout projects; mentoring junior developers, code review.
